BIRD BRAIN…

On January 14, 2007, I was surfing the Internet for a hyacinth macaw, I found a website no longer available. I came in contact with a bird breeder from Bamdeda, Cameroon. He was selling the hyacinth macaw for $520.00, in which included airport fees. He e-mailed me pictures of the bird, I automatically fell in love with the bird and agreed to buy it. I asked him how could I send him the money, he quickly said through wire transfer because it was safer. I did not understand what he meant by safer, but I ignored it and send him $520.00 US dollars. He then e-mails me hours later saying the airport would not ship the bird without insurance, and asked me for $250.00, right there I was suspicious about him, and started to look up the airport name, telephone, airline, and I found out that the airport telephone rings endlessly, the airport web-site is fake. Furthermore, the pictures he sent me where from an online photo gallery. I asked for my money back, he said he has not more money and that I would have to wait until he resells the bird. Recently he e-mailed me with a wire transfer number saying the money is available. Guess what, it was a lie. I threat him with the police, then a day later I get an e-mail from an IC3 agent. I said to myself that is so strange, because I never filed a complaint with the IC3 team. I still went for it and filed the report with the so called agent. Guess what, it was another scam from the same person, he was trying to cover up his mess.

I recently file a legitimate compliant with IC3 team. I really feel like an idiot. Watch out for this so called Rongmu Mark Laksso, telephone number 0023 595-9312.
